Clueless + Corrupt = Congress or, Congress is at it again.

What, you ask, is Congress up to now? What are they proposing to line the pockets of their cronies and themseles help the American people solve their home ownership problems? Why, they’re going to make home ownership affordable for those who can’t afford it by (gasp!) encouraging zero down home loans! Yes! It’s true, and you can read all about it; I found out about it at thwonderful (and aptly named) Mortgage Lender Implode-O-Meter. Having shielded the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac gravy trains for years past their expiration dates, now that they have spectacularly derailed (crashed, burned, exploded and flung bits of toxic wreckage the world over) Congress is about to set them back on track. Wooooo-wo0000! Chug chug, gravy on the move again! I guess this is America, where anything is possible. So why not revive a catastrophically failed policy on the off chance that this time it will work. “I think I can! I think I can! I think I can!”
Now to study what-all Congress has wrought in the way of Housing Stabilization so I can give you the scoop.
